As I said before, no two children are alike and this is true for strategies. Not all strategies will work for every child. Susan Barton, who is the creator of the Barton System for Reading and Writing, a well-proven and well used system in our school system, suggests you assign certain accommodations at a time. Implement these over period of time to evaluate for success. once these accommodations are proven, you may add more. If these are not successful, then abandon them for the time being and initiate other strategies to attempt.
